ITS Services

ITS has deployed a Public Safety Mobile Service vehicle to make your emergency systems equipment repairs and upgrades more efficient and cost effective. David Ratliff, our Chief Engineer, manages this operation; his degree in Electrical Engineering and more than 20 years of repairing, installing, and inventing high-tech emergency vehicle equipment ensures you will receive top-notch service.

BACKGROUND: Law Enforcement Departments nationwide are finding themselves forced to migrate from the familiar VHS-based in-car video systems to new Digital Media-Based In-Car Video systems. These new technology systems offer many benefits over the old formats, but also require a more in-depth understanding of electronic and computer hardware and support software for editing, preparation and archival purposes.

PROBLEM: ITS has noted repeated situations where a Law Enforcement Agency has purchased new Digital Technology Video Systems, but has hired a local (mom and pop) installation company to install their systems. This local company most often is completely unfamiliar with new Digital Video Systems, and is not factory trained or authorized to perform the installation and customer support effort. This results in the Digital Video Systems being installed improperly, with only minimal electrical interface connections made to the vehicle, sloppy wiring, improper and incomplete configuration settings, and no G-force crash detection calibrations being performed.

Solution: ITS has developed a comprehensive and detailed Installation, Configuration, Training and Support Program for our customers of Digital In-Car Video Systems. This program insures the challenges listed above are addressed and the customer is completely satisfied with their purchase of Digital Ally In-Car Video Systems. We provide the following key services when our company is contracted to perform installations for a given customer: Click for more...

T5 Thermal™ used to discover hidden security at suspects home in South Carolina.

"Members of my squad were lucky enough to demo the T5 Thermal " Thug Finder " unit prior to the Holiday break.
Although we weren't able to actually track a person with the T5, we used it as we approached a residence in which we were going to conduct a knock and talk. As we were approaching the residence, we could see through the T5 that the homeowner had placed several cameras on his residence. After noticing this, we were able to adapt our method of approaching the residence without being detected.
