MOBILE SERVICES  Please read to discover the difference.

Integrated Technology Systems has deployed a Public Safety Mobile Service vehicle to make your emergency system equipment repair and upgrades more efficient and cost effective. David Ratliff, our Chief Engineer manages this operation; his degree in Electrical Engineering and more than 20 years of repairing, installing and inventing high-tech emergency vehicle equipment ensures you will receive top-notch service.

BACKGROUND: Within the last few years, Law Enforcement Departments nationwide are finding themselves forced to migrate from the familiar VHS-based in-car video systems to new Digital Medium-Based In-Car Video systems of today.  These new technology systems offer many benefits over the old formats, but also require much more in-depth understanding of electronic and computer hardware, and support software for editing, preparation and archival purposes.

PROBLEM: Integrated Technology Systems has noted repeated situations where a Law Enforcement Agency has purchased new Digital Technology Video Systems, but has hired a local (mom and pop) installation company to install their systems.  This local company most often is completely unfamiliar with new Digital Video Systems, and is not factory trained and authorized to perform the installation and customer support effort.  Often times, this results in the Digital Video Systems being installed improperly, with only minimal electrical interface connections made to the vehicle, sloppy wiring, improper and incomplete configuration settings, and no G-force crash detection calibrations being performed.  There are no firmware updates and testing, and no back-end software installation, configuration, customer training or ongoing customer support.  Many times, the accessories and manuals to the systems are misplaced as well. Basically, the customer doesn’t know how to use the in-car video system when it arrives installed into a department’s vehicle.  This results in a poor customer opinion of the system, a dramatic increase in service calls to the manufacturer’s help lines, improper and non-uniform system operation from vehicle to vehicle, and lack of proper use of the back end archiving equipment and software.

SOLUTION: Integrated Technology Systems, the only authorized Digital Ally Video Systems representative firm, has developed a comprehensive and detailed Installation, Configuration, Training and Support Program for our customers of Digital In-Car Video Systems.  This program insures the challenges listed above are addressed and the customer is completely satisfied with their purchase of Digital Ally In-Car Video Systems.  We provide the following key services when our company is contracted to perform installations for a given customer:

·         Complete installation of the Digital Ally In-Car Video System into any vehicle.

o    Standard connections include Light Activation, Siren Indication, Brake Indication, Constant Power, Switched Power, Ground, External Audio Receiver Antenna, External GPS Antenna, (Radar Interface Cabling and Wireless Transfer Module, if these options are purchased.)

·         Firmware Updates.

o    Updating the Digital Video Mirror’s Firmware to the latest release from Digital Ally.

·         Configuration of Video System Parameters.

o    Setting of Date, Time, Recording Triggers, User Information, Radar Information, G-Force Sensor Calibration and Testing, Camera Focus and Operation Modes, Recording Resolution, Synching the Bodypack to the Mirror, Setting the Power Control Operation. (Configuration of the Wireless Transfer Module if that option is purchased.)

·         Complete System Testing.

o    While recording a video of our tests, we check each manual function of the Video Mirror, the Front and Rear Facing Cameras, the Bodypack, the Rear Seat Microphone, the Crash Detection option, and the Wireless Transfer Module if those options are purchased.

·         End User Training.

o    If available, the officer receives a brief training session, in his or her vehicle when appropriate, which will cover all the basic operations of the Digital Video Mirror System and its peripheral equipment.

·         Video Management Software Installation and Configuration.

o    The technician installs the Digital Ally Video Manager Back-End Software on the customer’s computer(s).

o    We then configure all the customer’s Vehicle, User and Password information, Event IDs, Permissions and all associated settings, while the customer watches.

·         Video Management Software Training.

o    We provide complete functionality training on the Video Manager Software to as many individuals as the customer requests.

·         Technical Support Via Telephone.

o    Once a customer has allowed ITS to perform their installation, configuration and training program, they are given free, life of the product technical support via telephone.

·         Installation Warranty.

o    ITS warranties its installation parts and labor for 1 year from the date of installation. If any problem arises with the wiring or proper functionality of the system or separate components, ITS will repair the problem at no charge to the customer for a period of 1 year. This warranty is void if the problem is traceable to user tampering, an unruly prisoner, or an act of God.

At Integrated Technology Systems, our company policy is that we do not leave a customer’s site until the customer is completely comfortable in using the equipment to produce, edit and archive digital video evidence, which is why they purchased the equipment originally.   This ensures a very satisfied customer, a high opinion of the equipment and the services offered, a much lower call rate to the technical support lines, and a greatly improved chance the customer will recommend other agencies purchase the same equipment.

Please call David to schedule a visit. You may also submit a list of current needs to dratliff@securityts.com so he can pre-order any requested or necessary equipment and complete the job in one visit further reducing your expenses.
